After five years, the German industrial metal quartet Devil-M returns. With their new album TITANOMACHIE, the four metallers breathe new life into Greek mythology, dedicating it entirely to the Titans. Kronos, Gyges, Iapetus & Co. unleash chaos upon everything that crosses their path. Gods die, Olympus falls, and a happy ending is neither in sight nor ever part of the plan.

The album’s entire concept unfolds as a cohesive story about the vengeance and downfall of the Titans, which has even been produced as both a short story and an audiobook. Whether Hades finds justice, whether the Cyclopean children might be the key, and what the Chimera has to do with Zeus’ demise—these are mysteries one must uncover for themselves. To accompany the release, the tale will appear as an illustrated short story in the form of a strictly limited artbook, as well as an audiobook.

With crushing guitar riffs, aggressive drums, and expansive soundtrack-style ambience, Devil-M deliver a diverse album far removed from typical Deutschrock or Neue Deutsche Härte. This is industrial metal as it’s meant to sound. Veteran Aggrotech mastermind Elmar Schmidt of Centhron (mixing) and Kristof Bathory of Dawn of Ashes (mastering) helped bring the album to its final form.

The first single, “Komplex,” makes it unmistakably clear: nothing here is wrapped in cotton wool. Instead, brutal noise samples collide with frontman Astharat’s distinctive screams, creating a dense sonic thunderstorm straight from Hades. And after completing their joint tour with industrial legends Psyclon Nine last year, Devil-M are set to play more shows in 2026.
